''Kachinmana'' means Kachina Girl. A young girl initiated in the Hopi ways. Her hair is done in the ancient style indicating that she is available for marriage. She has a stylized robe that comes across her shoulder that is textured to indicate that it is made of wool.

''Kachinmana'' is in the gourd shape, the oldest utilitarian vessel known to man, and symbolic to the Hopi culture. The gourd is used as an everyday vessel and has many uses to the Hopi. They are used as seed storage, rattles for the Kachinas, dippers to water the corn, and even to help smooth pottery.
